Immerse yourself in the medieval history of Oviedo, the former capital of the Kingdom of Asturias. We depart from Plaza Feijoo, where we'll discover the city's origins. We'll visit the exterior of the Cathedral and the remains of the Palace of Alfonso II, the king who promoted the Camino de Santiago. We'll continue exploring archaeological sites such as the Church of San Tirso, the Fuente de la Rúa, and the Fuente de Foncalada, one of the few surviving pre-Romanesque civil vestiges. Along the way, we'll visit Alfonso III Castle and its former palace, which reflects the position of Asturian power.
